"Re-orientating Health and Nursing Care: A Qualitative Study on Indigenous Conceptualisations of Wellbeing" focuses on the wellbeing perceptions of older Māori adults (pakeke) in Aotearoa/New Zealand. It employs a kaupapa Māori methodology to explore how these adults understand wellbeing, with an aim to inform culturally responsive nursing care. The study emphasizes the importance of integrating Māori perspectives and values into healthcare, highlighting the interconnectedness of physical, mental, emotional, social, and spiritual wellbeing in the Māori worldview.
